  • Any amount of time dedicated to volunteering makes a difference.
  • Consistent small contributions are preferred over a large one-time contribution.

Our Volunteer Process

Submit Application

Fill out the form to become a volunteer and start making a difference in rescue dogs' lives today!

Interview

Our volunteer coordinator will review your application and contact you to set up a time for an interview.

Attend Orientation

If the interview is successful and you are accepted, you will be required to attend an orientation session and undergo training.

Most importantly, you will experience a remarkable sense of fulfillment that comes from making a difference for a dog in need. You’ll also become a part of a wonderful community of people, all dedicating their time for a shared cause.

2. What are you looking for in a volunteer?

As a 501c3 non-profit, we depend on our invaluable volunteers to help us save more lives.

  • Our volunteers should always be positive and professional.
  • We always respect each other and our different types of audiences: potential adopters, fosters, other volunteers, donors, and the public
  • Consistency is critical for our lifesaving operations.
  • Even if you can only volunteer an hour or two a week, it makes a difference.
  • We’d rather you help a little each week over a period of time than a lot upfront.
  • *Please note that all volunteers must be 18 yrs or older.
